Barbie K. Baugh

Ms. Baugh began her Civil Service Career in 1983 as a Secretary in the Total Army Personnel Command, (TAPC).

Accepted a job with the U.S. Army Materiel Command in 1990 as a Protocol Specialist. She worked for Army Materiel Command for 17 years before relocating to Huntsville, Alabama in 2007 as the Team Lead in the Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Protocol Office. In 2009 she accepted the position as Chief of Protocol.
Ms. Baugh is a Certified Protocol Planner with the Protocol and Event Management School. A graduate of the Protocol School of Washington and attended numerous educational seminars on Meeting and Events Planning.
Awards include Commanders’ Awards, Superior Civilian Service Award, Samuel Sharpe Award. Nominated for the 2009 Association of the United States Army Civilian of the Year on Redstone Arsenal and the 2011 Planner of the Year for Rocket City-Alabama Chapter of the Society of Government Meeting Professionals (SGMP).
Volunteer work includes Planner Director for the Rocket City-Alabama Chapter of SGMP, Association of the United States Army, Leader in local Girl Scout Troop, and U12 Coordinator for the American Youth Soccer Organization.

Lives in Madison City, AL with husband Brett and children Brandy and Brooke
(13 year old twins).
