The CGMP classes, held March 28-30, were an intense three days of study, followed by exam day on March 31st..  The 250 page training manual included topics from management and coordination of events, to risk management, with subjects such as ethics and federal budget and accounting included.  The structure of the class allowed for a lot of participation.  In addition to learning from Lisa Silverman, SGMP’s Education and Training Manager, participants were able to learn from each other as well. Classes were held at the Residence Inn by Marriott Gainesville I-75  in Gainesville.  The exam was administered by Rebecca Johnson, CMP, CGMP from the Department of Conferences at the Univeristy of Florida TREEO Center.

CGMP Benefits
